having conducted many weeklong skills facilitation and training sessions with Year 10 students and assisting them to problem solve a live issue for a business operator using the skills they have been taught on the first day. The Mindshop Excellence Program is the work experience program of choice to encourage student towards careers in manufacturing.  In 2005 the program was sponsored by the Victorian Government Department of Manufacturing

The Excellence Program focuses on 4 key objectives.

LIFE BUILDING SKILLS

Problem Solving Skills that can be continuously used through out their life.

TEAM BUILDING SKILLS

Teams develop by combining the strengths of each team member. This involves having respect for each other and understanding individual needs.

SELF CONFIDENCE

Maximum confidence comes from building self-esteem and maximising the feeling of winning. The Excellence Program is designed to achieve both these aims.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Through active participation they will develop confidence and build self-esteem. They can always do better, but be aware of how they can improve.

Danny has excellent adult education skills and his experience with teaching problem solving skills is an excellent basis for skills training of people that have not been in a learning environment for many years

Danny is a Board member of the Mindshop Educational Trust.

Danny assists during business facilitation sessions, provides administration support and program coordination.
